Summer is now a distant memory, but I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday with family and friends and that your fall and holiday season is off to a productive start.

Wollaston Urban Revitalization District Community Planning Session

The City of Quincy invites the public to participate in a re-envisioning process for the Wollaston Urban Revitalization District on Tuesday, December 4th from 6:30 to 8:30 P.M. at Central Middle School, 875 Hancock Street, Quincy.

BSC Group will facilitate several activities – including interactive mapping – during the event to encourage meaningful participation from the public.

Childcare will be provided and sponsored by Quincy After School Child Care and Wollaston Child Care Center. Language interpretation will be available.

114 Whitwell Street Meeting Postponed

FRP Quincy Development LLC, the Applicant for the PUD-Hospital project located at 114 Whitwell Street, has submitted a letter requesting a continuance of its Planning Board case scheduled for a Special Meeting on December 5, 2018.  The next meeting date for the 114 Whitwell Street is still to be determined.

17th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting!

The Wollaston Hill Neighborhood Association, The Wollaston School PTO and I will host the 17th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony at Safford Park Friday, December 7th beginning at 6 PM.

Enjoy a fun sing-along and hot chocolate at Safford Park, with a special appearance by Santa Claus to help us light Clara Yeomans’s tree – a beautiful centerpiece at the park.
